      Russell Winberg of St. Ignace has been named to the dean’s list for the 2009 fall semester at North Central Michigan College in Petoskey. Mr. Winberg completed his first semester with a 3.90 grade point average. He is in the accounting assistant program.

      Landon Snyder of St. Ignace and Alex Malaski of Rudyard received degrees from Ferris State University in December 2009. Mr. Snyder earned a Bachelor of Science in business in resort management. Mr. Malaski was graduated with an Associate in Applied Science in general business.
