Patti Bosely accepts $250 on behalf of Chippewa County Community Action from the DeTour Area Buttercups. The money will be used to help a DeTour area family pay their heating bill. Buttercup leader Amy Mickelson said the girls voted to donate the money to tsunami survivors or to a local family in need of help with heating costs. “Although they agreed the tsunami victims were a great cause, they felt that our community cannot be forgotten in the shadow of a catastrophe such as the tsunamis,” Mrs. Mickelson said. The DeTour Area Buttercups include Alexis Scott, Alysan Bosley, Alyssa Wilson, Amanda Hunter, Bailey Lawless, Brett Warner, Cammy Frisbie, Darci Wilson, Emily Bosley, Hannah Reed, Hayley Warner, Julie Reed, Laci Smith, Madison Wilkie, Makayla Ross, Mary Firack, Mattie Warner, Mikayla Scott, Millie Reed, Moriah Reed, Savanna Mickelson, Sydnie Mickelson, Skylar Pardee, Alexandra Petitjean, and Stephanie Leazier.
