On April 20, the Eastern Upper Peninsula Principals’ Association will hold its annual banquet to honor academic achievements of the 2005 seniors. Engadine Schools would like to congratulate the following seniors for their high academic achievements: Andrea Miller, Molly Bigger, Katie Fletcher, Addison Whitney, Alex Prater, Kevin Knachel, Justin Kohler.
Engadine Consolidated Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence is having its fifth annual Academic Achievement Banquet Monday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. The banquet will be at the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club Activities Building and will honor students from grade nine to grade 12. To qualify for the banquet, all students must make the Honor Roll for the first three marking periods of this school year. The Foundation will announce its scholarship recipients at the banquet.
National Library Week will be observed April 18 to April 24. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. All types of libraries, school, public, academic, and special, participate.
