Four former LaSalle High School athletes, Jim Clement, Krista Clement, Randi Johnson, and Steve MacDonald, received honors at the collegiate level.

Jim Clement was named Most Valuable Player for the Lake Superior State University (LSSU) men’s basketball team.

His sister, Krista Clement, at the University of Michigan, received the Prestige Award for her desire, determination, and dedication throughout the season.

Randi Johnson received the Deb McPherson Female Athlete of the Year at LSSU.

Steve MacDonald, with a 3.953 grade-point average, received the Kiwanis Scholarship Award, presented to the LSSU athlete with the highest academic mark.
