Tonya Sterk, daughter of Jill Lester and Juan Sterk and granddaughter of Al Lester and Dick Sterk, earned an assist during the Women's National Hockey Championships at Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ms. Sterk, formerly of St. Ignace, played for the Florida Beaches, Southeastern Regional champions, the first team from the State of Florida to reach the Nationals.
