The ministry musical team from Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wisconsin, will perform at the First Baptist Church of Paradise, Saturday, May 7, at 7 p.m., and again Sunday, May 8, at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The church is on M-123 in Paradise.

The Curtis Library has a new reading magnification machine. It magnifies up to 50 times and is free to use.

The Luce Mackinac Genealogical Society will meet Thursday, May 5, at 1:30 p.m., in the Engadine High School library.

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital in Newberry will host a community health screening, Friday, May 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Paradise Community Clinic in Paradise. For more information, please call Aimee at (906) 293-9274.

The Gould City Eagles Club will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast, Saturday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Laidlaws Corner on US-2 in Gould City. Proceeds will benefit the Gould City Eagles Club.

The Three Lakes Area Fireworks Council will meet Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m., at the Whitefish Inn in Curtis. New members are welcome.

The American Legion Post 393 in Hulbert will have their annual pig roast, Saturday, May 7, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This will be held at their post in Hulbert. The cost for all you can eat is just $8 for adults and $4 for children.
