In a brief meeting Wednesday, April 20, the Mackinaw City School Board renewed co-operative play agreements for sports programs with other districts. A two-year golf co-op agreement with St. Ignace Area Schools was renewed, as was a two-year football agreement with Pellston School District.

The school board adopted a Uniform Traffic Code Agreement to allow police agencies to enforce traffic laws on school properties, reported school secretary Loretta Martinek.

The Mackinaw City School Board will meet again Wednesday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at the school.
