Navy Airman Apprentice James Davis, son of Jan and stepson of Jack Behrens of De Tour Village, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.

During the eight-week program, Airman Davis completed a variety of training including classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was placed on physical fitness.

Airman Davis is a 2004 graduate of De Tour Area High School of De Tour Village.
