Seney Wildlife Refuge Offers June Programs

Seney National Wildlife Refuge will offer guided tours of the refuge backcountry from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every Wednesday in June, July, and August.

Dip netting for insects will be offered Saturday, June 18, Sunday, June 19, Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26. Saturday sessions will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., while Sunday sessions will be from noon to 2 p.m. Participants will learn to identify various water insects.

A program to teach adults to identify various Michigan frogs will be offered Sunday, June 19, at 2 p.m.

A program to teach children to identify Michigan frogs will be Sunday, June 26, at 2 p.m.

The Refuge is on M-77 three miles north of Germfask, and 15 miles northwest of Curtis.
