Ladies Day Golf

Beth Quinnell and Dorothy McDowell shared the low gross with 47 and Angela Cowell carded 37 for low net in the first flight of the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, June 8.

Bev VanDergleest recorded 47 for low gross and Carol Evans and Gloria Smith shared low net honors with 40 in the second flight. Joyce Alley and Arlene Portice shared low gross honors with 57 and Gladys Baxter with 40 for low net in the third flight, and Priscilla King charted 58 for low gross and Mary Sanderson marked 42 for low net in the fourth flight.

Janet Bouffard registered the longest drive on number 14 and closest to the pin with second shot on number 17, Phyllis Baxter with low putts overall at 14, and Gladys Baxter and Phyllis Baxter made a par on number 11.

Senior Golf League

Murrey Greenhalge carded 36 for low gross and Jack Nadeau and Brian Landers shared low putts honors with 12 during the Munoscong Seniors Golf League.

Ron Mitchell won the door prize, Randy Sanderson closest to the pin on number two, Sonny Veit closest to the pin with second shot on number six, and Roy Hamilton longest putt on the day.

Mixed Doubles Golf

The foursome of Bill and Jan Moore and Alan Boal and Joyce Alley carded 30 with nine putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Thursday, June 9.

The team of Dave and Pam Postma and Roger and Paulette Belair and the group of Tom and Yvonne Newton and Ervin Belonga and Arlene Portice recorded 31 with 11 putts to share second place.

Arlene Portice was closest to the pin with third shot on number 15, Matt Weimer closest to the pin on number 16, Ed DeWitt longest putt on number 14, and Erin Belonga closest to the pin with second shot on number 13.
