Work takes place on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Biscayne Bay Saturday, July 30, at the St. Ignace Coast Guard Station. Scaffolding was erected by Waukesha, Wisconsin-based company Safway. Maintenance work on the mast and a fire alarm system were installed during the one-day project by Allied Technical Group of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Both companies are working on other Coast Guard cutters on the Great Lakes.
