Ladies Day

Beth Quinnell carded 47 for low gross and Amanda Ross recorded 40 for low net during the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, July 27.

Gloria Smith tallied 52 for low gross and Priscilla King 36 for low net in the second flight, Gladys Baxter with 57 for low gross and Joyce Alley 38 for low net in the third flight, and Evalyn Jacobson with 55 for low gross and Mary Sanderson 42 for low net in the fourth flight.

Dorothy McDowell, Gloria Smith, Jan Moore, Connie Nadeau, and Joyce Alley shared low putts with 16. Paulette Belair was closest to the green with first shot on number two, Gloria Smith was closest to the tree with second shot on number six, and Amanda Ross longest drive on number eight.

Mixed Doubles

The team of Dave and Pam Postma and Arvid and Theora Hamilton recorded 33 with 12 putts to win the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, July 29.

The foursome of Gary Klop and Sonja Clegg and John Manning and Joyce Alley took second with 34 and 10 putts, while special events team winners were Ed and Joyce DeWitt and Wendell and Marianne Douglas, Denny Smith with closest to the hole with third shot on number three and closest to the hole with second shot on number five, and Pam Postma closest to the pin with tee shot on number nine.

Seniors Golf League

Murray Bryant carded 36 and Sonny Veit recorded low putts during the Munoscong Seniors Golf League Thursday, July 28.

Bruce Mapes won the door prize, while Joe Poisson was closest to the pin with second shot on number 12. Ted Cote was closest to pin on number 16, and Henry Jarvie had the longest putt on number 18.
