A showing of work by students of the Chippewa Historical Society Icon Workshop will take place in the Alberta House Mini Gallery in Sault Ste. Marie through Tuesday, August 30. There will be a meet-the-artist reception Saturday, August 6, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit features the Byzantine art of painting icons by residents of Cedarville, Sault Ste. Marie, Paradise, and area visitors.
