Brimley Bays Varsity Football team includes Head Coach Brian Reattoir, Assistant Coaches Tim Wilson and Carlos Molina, and players Darick Bowen, Nick Friez, Jeff Graham, Ben Jacobs, Travis Lynn, Derek Parish, Joe Quinn, Ben Thompson, Chris York, Mike Graham, Adam Jacobs, Preston Parish, Steve Phillips, Seth Schofield, Frank St. George, Tim York, and Jerrod Dillon. Brian Reattoir, in his 10th season at Brimley as head coach, will have the luxury of 12 returnees to build his 2005 team.

The Bays will prepare for the Eastern Upper Peninsula schedule with the largest group of returning players among the league teams.

Leading the way for the blue and white in their final season are captains Jeff Graham at wing and corner, Travis Lynn at quarterback and safety, Derick Parish at offensive and defensive tackle, and Joe Quinn at guard and linebacker.

Remaining seniors returning are Darick Bowen at wing-back and defensive end, Nick Friez at tackle, Ben Jacobs at guard and tackle, Tom Watchhorn at center and defensive tackle, Ben Thompson at halfback and corner, and Chris York at guard and defensive end, with junior Frank St. George at halfback and linebacker and sophomore Jerrod Dillon at halfback and corner return for the second varsity season.

First-year varsity players are juniors Mike Graham at end and linebacker, Adam Jacobs at end and safety, Preston Parish at end and defensive end, Steve Phillips at halfback and corner, and Seth Schofield at offensive and defensive end.

"The experience is a big plus," said Coach Reattoir. "It will be easier in practice working on our offense and defense with this group of talented athletes, we need to cut down on our penalties and that means we need to be more disciplined."

The Bays will battle for the league championship along with Pickford, Cedarville, and Engadine and face a strong non-conference schedule that includes Powers-North Central, St. Basil, Rapid River, Mid Peninsula, and Lincoln-Alcona.
