Seney National Wildlife Refuge near Curtis is celebrating September and October as Hunting and Fishing months. The refuge has special events scheduled from Sunday, September 4 to Friday, October 14.

At 2 p.m. Sunday, September 4, the refuge will host a presentation by Richard Smith, an award winning outdoor writer and photographer, who will speak about the capture of moose in Ontario for relocation to the Upper Peninsula.

Mr. Smith will display photographs that include banding, capturing, and releasing of moose, and a variety of different aged moose.
