Ladies Day

Beth Quinnell and Amanda Ross carded 47 to share low gross honors and Angela Cowell recorded 36 for low net in the first flight of the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League.

Bev Vandergeest notched 50 for low gross and Carol Evans 36 for low net in the second flight, Joyce Alley 60 for low gross and Gladys Baxter 39 for low net in the third flight, and Mary Sanderson 74 for low gross in the fourth flight.

Connie Nadeau tallied low putts with 14. Closest to the pin with shot from fairway or rough on number one was Gloria Christensen, with Paulette Belair on number four, and Joyce Alley on number six, and closest to the pin on number eight was Mary Sanderson.

Seniors League

Henry Jarvie carded 35, Greg Schwagert recorded low putts with 11, and Larry Davis was the door prize winner during the Munoscong Seniors Golf League Thursday, August 25.

Ray Frye recorded the longest putt on number 10, Dave Kaiser closest to the pin with second shot on number 16, and Jack Sanderson closest to the pin with tee shot on number 16.

Mixed Doubles

The foursome of Tom and Yvonne Newton and Wendell and Marianne Douglas carded 32 with 10 putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Sunday August 28.

The team of Connie and Janet Boouffard and Murray and Maureen Greenhalge took second after recording 33 with 11 putts, while the group of Roger and Paulette Belair and Denny Smith and Cindy Harrison won the team special event.

John Manning was closest to the pin with second shot on number one, Marianne Douglas closest to the pin on number two, Tom Newton closest to the pin with third shot on number three, and Yvonne Newton made the longest putt on number four.
