Unknown people stole nearly $550 in U.S. and Canadian currency in two Soo Co-op Credit Union bags after breaking and entering the Hessel Ridge Golf Course office between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, August 28. A sliding glass door was damaged, estimated at $3,000.

The Michigan State Police are seeking information on this crime through Crime Stoppers at (800) 465-7867. Tips that lead to arrest could receive up to $1,000 and callers may remain anonymous.
