Arts and cultural projects planned for 2006 may be eligible for grants of up to $4,000 through the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs Minigrant Program, with an application deadline of Saturday, October 1.

Applications from Mackinac, Chippewa, and Luce counties may be from non-profit organizations, institutions, schools, associations, or local government agencies planning projects that will start between February 1, 2006, and September 30, 2006.
