Edward Brewster, a survivor of the ship Cedarville , will be the guest speaker at the Mackinaw Area Historical Society meeting Monday, October 10. The Cedarville sank May 7, 1965, and Mr. Brewster was one of 25 men rescued by the German ship Weissenberg.

He will talk at 7:30 p.m. at the Mackinaw City Library on Central Avenue.

Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy the refreshments in social time following the meeting.
