Sheriff Scott Strait Named to LSSU Alumni Fellows Class
Mackinac County Sheriff Scott Strait has been named among eight people chosen as the inaugural class of Alumni Fellows at Lake Superior State University (LSSU) in Sault Ste. Marie.
The Alumni Fellows program invites exceptional alumni to campus to share their expertise with the campus community.
The university will honor Alumni Fellows each year during the Great Lake State Weekend, celebrated this year October 21 to 23. The honor will be a lifetime designation.
Mr. Strait, of Cedarville, is a 1984 graduate of the university.
Other honorees are Ken Cooper, D.D.S., of Sault Ste. Marie, Beverly Wolfe of War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Douglas deBest of Covert Township, James Knight of Hummelston, Pennsylvania, Tim Hall of Malcom School of Sault Ste. Marie, Jan Bednarz of Indianapolis, and Scott Lindemann of Holland, Michigan.
