EUPC All-Conference Football Team

Running back Caleb Rader of Pickford was named Offensive Player of the Year and defensive tackle Derek Parish of Brimley Defensive Player of the Year by the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference (EUPC) coaches during their annual meeting Monday, October 24.

Joining Rader on the offensive team was Travis Lynn of Brimley at quarterback, Justin Baker of Cedarville at running back, Cory Wellnitz of Cedarville and Grayson Hood of Engadine at ends, Jeff Graham at flanker. The offensive line includes Matt Hansen of Cedarville, Jacob Swider and Scott Butkovich of Engadine, Jason King of Pickford, Derek Parish and Tom Watchorn of Brimley, and kicker Scott Butkovich of Engadine.

The defensive team includes Parish along with linemen Aaron Bright of Cedarville, J.J. Troyer, Brad Visser and Jacob Swider of Engadine, Chris York of Brimley, linebackers Gary Kott of Cedarville, Grayson Hood of Engadine, and Caleb Rader of Pickford, defensive backs Justin Baker and Matt Manley of Cedarville, Jeff Graham of Brimley, and punter Scott Butkovich of Engadine.

Receiving honorable mention on offense were Alex Smith, Aaron Bright, Gary Kott, Peter Treleaven, and Michael Pollard of Cedarville, Allen Orr and Jordan Hatfield of Pickford, Brad Visser of Engadine, and Nick Friez and Chris York of Brimley.

On the defensive side of the ball, players receiving honorable mention include Keith Foster, Cory Wellnitz, and Alex Smith of Cedarville, Jason King, Richie Boal, Toby Kibble, Al King, Joe Jenkins, Jon Clegg, and Allen Orr of Pickford, and Nick Friez and Steve Phillips of Brimley.
