Cedarville JV Basketball Wins League Title
Cedarville junior varsity won the EUPC league title with a 61-44 win over Engadine.
The Trojans, 6-0 on the season in the league, were led by Billie McLeod with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 steals. Caitlin Wright added 13 points, seven steals, and seven assists, Ashley Sweeney chipped in 13, Megan Hill notched seven, and Katie Bowlby, Kacie Simpson, and Felicia Brant tallied four apiece.
Lauren MacArthur scored 15 points to lead the Eagles, Kristen Derusha added 11, Shannon Browning and Chantel Rodriquez chipped in eight, and Leann Gribbell notched two.
Trojans Down Raiders
The Trojans downed DeTour 57-27 as Billie McLeod scored 19 points, Caitlin Wright added 12, Katie Bowlby chipped in six, Rachelle Hansen notched four, Felicia Brant tallied three, and Carissa Sudol and MacKenzie Sudol both charted two.
Trojans JV Drops First Game
Cedarville junior varsity team dropped its first game of the season as Pickford handed the Trojans a 54-45 setback.
Playing without Billie McLeod and Caitlin Wright, who were moved to the varsity, the Trojans were led by Ashley Sweeney with 14 points. Megan Hill added 11, Katie Bowlby chipped in eight, Karley Smith notched four, Rachelle Hansen tallied three, and Hope Deeren and MacKenzie Sudol charted one.
Courtney Bruni scored 16 points and Jasmine Ledy added 15 to lead the Panthers.
