Margaret Crawfis Margaret Crawfis, 93, formerly owned and operated Snows Bar in Cedarville with her husband, Donald. Mrs. Crawfis, of Clinton Township, died Saturday, July 23, 2005, at Fraser Villa Nursing Home in Fraser. She was born October 23, 1911, in Scotland, to Patrick Joseph and Anna (nee Brown) Loftus. On March 7, 1931, she married Donald C. Crawfis in Detroit. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband. She also liked gardening and was especially fond of peonies. Mrs. Crawfis is survived by a daughter and her family, Margaret and Russell Robertson of Clinton Township; a son and his family, Donald and Barbara Crawfis of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren and their families, Margaret and Mark Schlump, Robert and Sharon Roosen, Mark and Dianne Roosen, Warren and Fay Roosen, Lucinda and Terrance Marsack, Gerald and Linda Brunner, and Christine Crawfis; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died October 30, 1977; a brother, Robert Loftus; a daughter, Joan; and three sisters, Anna Glines, Mary Loftus, and Iris Acree. A funeral was held Tuesday, July 26, at Hauss Funeral Home in Macomb Township, with the Reverend Dr. Paul Dancy, pastor of Our Saviour Lutheran Church of Armada, officiating. Friends called at the funeral home Monday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Burial was in Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Township.
