Lois Paquin

Lois K. Paquin, 72, died Sunday, August 7, 2005.

She was born September 21, 1932, in Munising, to Ellis and Eva (nee Lewis) Hood.

Mrs. Paquin lived in the Upper Peninsula as a child and for most of her life. She had been living in the Grand Rapids area for the past 12 years.

In 1969 she married Harry Paquin. He preceded her in death in September 2000 following 34 years of marriage.

She is survived by seven children and their families, Donald McCullough of Coloma, Sandy and Larry Barnum of White Cloud, Alicen and Gary Davis of Claremore, Oklahoma, Rhonda and Len McCullough of Rockford, Daniel McCullough of Coloma, Wally and Tammy McCullough of Grand Rapids, Dee and Keith Loomis of Catoosa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Also surviving her are four brothers and their families, Lloyd and Gladys Hood, Junior Hood, Ken Hood, John and Bernice Hood; two sisters and their families, Helen “Midge” and Sonny Browning, Lucille Niskala; and many nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Paquin will be Friday, August 12, at 1 p.m. at Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry with Pastor Tom Evans officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Rexton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
