Lynnette Carrick Wins Mills 5K

Lynnette Carrick of Brimley won the 5K female event of the annual Billy Mills Run with a time of 22:34, while Blaise Henning of Harbor Springs took first in the male 5K in 15:44. Pika Aderman of Menominee placed first in the female 10K in 41:28, and Dan Droski of Lowell finished first in male 10K in 35:06.

Carl Morrison of Pickford took fourth in the 10K in 39:16, Scout Hester of Brimley eighth in the 10K in 41:13, and Tom Spencer 15th in the 10K in 1:04.30.

In the 5K events, Rachel Carruthers of Brimley finished 13th in 29:39 and Raelynn Hunter of Brimley 15th in 29:57, while Kenny Schwiderson of Brimley placed third in 19:13, Keith Swendsen of Brimley sixth in 21:00, Chris Carrick 15th in 24:26, and Gene Mill of Kincheloe 23rd in 26:50.
