Brimley Cagers Earn First Win

Brimley recorded its first win of the season with a 44-35 non-conference win over Big Bay de Noc Saturday, September 10.

Ashley Lothrop and Carrie Aikens scored 10 points each to lead the Bays, while J. Perron chipped in six, Molly McIntyre, Katey Kingsbury, Kelly Graham, and Sydney Wilson notched four apiece, and P.J. Hopper tallied two.

The second half offense was the difference, as Brimley trailed 17-15 at halftime. The Bays held a 16-11 margin in the third quarter and outscored the Black Bears 13-7 to post the win.

Angie Leckson scored 33 points for Big Bay de Noc.
