•Shawn Brewer, 17, of St. Ignace, was arraigned on the charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He pled guilty and will be sentenced Friday, March 10. (Michigan State Police)

•Brian Smallman, 23, of Cedarville, was arraigned on charges of three counts of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree. He stood mute. A pre-trial date has been set for Friday, February 24. (Michigan State Police)

•Robert Spencer, 54, of Grand Rapids, was arraigned on a charge of negligent homicide. He stood mute. Apre-trial and trial date will be set. (Michigan State Police)

• Alexander Cassibo, 45, of St. Ignace, was sentenced on the charge of sex offender-fail to register. He was sentenced to one-to four-years with the Department of Corrections. (Michigan State Police)

•Brenda Smith, 47, of Pickford, had a pre-trial conference on charges of four counts of larceny in a building. A trial date has been set for April 10. (Michigan State Police)

•Anthony Veker, 42, of L’Anse, pled guilty on charges of driving while intoxicated, third offense. A pre-trial sentence investigation will be completed and a sentencing date of March 10 has been set. (Michigan State Police)
