Traffic decreased 1.5 percent on the Mackinac Bridge in January 2006 compared to January 2005, said Robert J. Sweeney, executive secretary of the Mackinac Bridge Authority.

Last January 215,236 vehicles crossed the bridge, producing $849,585 in revenue.

This January, 212,007 vehicles used the bridge, producing $833,754.
