Chelsey O’Conner Pickford Pickford finished with a 4-6 record during the Lake Superior State University Volleyball Invitational Saturday, February 11.

The Panthers defeated Mid Peninsula 25-20 and 25-17, won one out of three from Oscoda 25-20, 17-25, and 11-15, and fell to Engadine 14-25, 25-22, and 11-15, and dropped two matches to Korah of Ontario 21-25 and 17-25.

Chelsey O'Connor led the Panthers with 11 aces, 17 digs, and 12 kills. Lauren Waybrant added six aces, 26 assists, 12 digs, and one kill; Caitlin Mortinsen chipped in three aces, seven kills, and four digs; Kacey Nyberg notched two aces, 18 digs, and nine kills; Renae Reich tallied two aces, 14 digs, and two assists; Veronica Gough charted two aces, 13 digs, and nine kills; and Brittany K u c h a r c z y k contributed one dig.
