A tool trailer parked at a logging site south of M-28 near Soldiers Lake in Chippewa Township was broken into and Michigan State Police are seeking information. The theft took place on or around Friday, January 13. Tools valued at more than $3,300 were stolen, including inductive sensors, a chainsaw, hand and power tools, directional valves, and two seal sets.

According to Crime Stoppers, this was one of a number of tool trailer burglaries in the Upper Peninsula.
