Eleven New Members Join LaSalle's National Honor Society
LaSalle High School's National Honor Society inducted 11 new members Tuesday, March 14. The society includes (front, from left) Joe Brown, Nathan Zimmerman*, Allison Brown*, Erica Ahlich*, Cally Klimczak*, Kelsey Cryderman*, Jack Goudreau*; (middle) Megan Gustafson, Brittany Dykstra, Christina Smith, Chelcee Tiernan, Kate Springsteen, Ashley St. Louis, Jenny Massaway; (back) Stephen Massaway, Don McLeod, Paul Davis, Brad Silet, Rob Olsen, Jake Weiss*, Dan Olsen*, Lewis Mullins*, Jonathan Ruegg*, and Joe Hough*. (* indicates new members) Eleven new members were inducted into LaSalle High School's Prentiss M. Brown Chapter of the National Honor Society Tuesday, March 14, at LaSalle High School.
Student members are selected for qualities of scholarship, character, leadership, and service.
The new members now join the other 14 members of the society. New members include Erica Ahlich, Allison Brown, Kelsey Cryderman, Jack Goudreau, Joseph Hough, Cally Klimczak, Lewis Mullins, Dan Olsen, Jonathan Ruegg, Jake Weiss, and Nathan Zimmerman.
Installation of the new members was headed by Society Advisor Connie Olsen. Society member Paul Davis led the pledge with the new members. Chelcee Tiernan welcomed the family and friends in the audience to the ceremony and High School Principal Don Gustafson spoke briefly about the society's history. Superintendent Michael Springsteen closed the ceremony with a congratulatory speech.
The National Honor Society has been established at LaSalle for 51 years.
