Trent Salo (18.4 points per game) of Rudyard and Brent DesArmo (17.4) of Cheboygan were named Co-Players of the Year in the Straits Area Conference for 2005-2006 by the head coaches.

Garrett Becker (16.5) of St. Ignace joined the pair on the first team, along with Matt Payment (14.1) of Newberry, and Adam Pancheri (14.9) and Eddie James (12.5) of Sault High.

Jake Weiss of St. Ignace, Travis Clegg of Rudyard, Andrew Schultz of Newberry, Rob Guimond of Sault High, Kris Laur and Justin Reed of Cheboygan, and Bret Karsten of Rogers City were selected to the second team.

Receiving honorable mention were Kyle O'Boyle and Dan Olsen of St. Ignace, Jeff Briggs, Jordan Gaskin, and Dan Bartley of Rudyard, Mike Pluto and Stu Chipman of Sault High, and Chris Santini and Austin Fairbanks of Rogers City.
