Roland Robert "Ron" Streibe of St. Ignace worked at the Shelter Work Shop in Sault Ste. Marie for a short time, and had been living at the Santigo Adult Foster Care Home on Belonga Road in St. Ignace for the past seven years. Mr. Streibe died at the age of 68 early Saturday morning, April 8, 2006, at his home. He was born December 22,

1937, in Bridgeman in Lapeer County, to William Streibe and Agnes Kreiger. Elgie Dow of St. Ignace was his guardian.

Cremation has occurred, and a memorial service will be held in May at Lakeside Cemetery in St. Ignace. Pastor Tom Penner will officiate.
