A chicken dinner will be offered Sunday, May 7, to benefit Mackinac Animal Aid and the county animal shelter. It will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Moose Lodge 999 on Mackinac Trail in St. Ignace.

Tickets will be available at the door for $8 per adult or $4 per child younger than 12.

Prizes, live entertainment by Lynn Dionne, and an auction will be featured. Prizes include gift certificates, a Mackinac Bridge tour, ferry line tickets, autographed books, United States and Michigan flags flown over the capitols, and a signed script from Bob Barker of television's "The Price Is Right."
