High School Golf Matches

Cedarville and Pickford hosted high school golf matches, with the Lady Trojans defeating Brimley 236-239 and the Bays upending the Trojans 182-187 in the boys match.

Girls Meet: Billie McLeod and Jessie Duncan shared low medalist honors for Cedarville after carding 58. Lauren Izzard chipped in 59, Lyndsay McLeod added 60, and Kara Griffin 60. Four low scores count for team scoring.

Raelene Menominee tallied 56, Shannon Hascall charted 60, Tasha Soule counted 61, Kelly Waybrant marked 62, and Megan Parish notched 63 for the Bays.

Boys Meet: Mike Cole and Kellen Perron shot 44 for low medalist honors, Cody Robbins chipped in 45, Corie Quinn notched 49, and Brad Cameron added 57.

Jason Duncan tied for low medalist honors with 44, Jordan Duncan tallied 46, Mike Causley marked 48, Justin Baker counted 49, and Chad Schlosser added 51.

Pickford Boys, DeTour Girls

Post Wins

DeTour boys defeated Pickford 175-187 and the Lady Raiders posted a 266 score, while the Lady Trojans failed to record a team score with just two golfers.

Boys Meet: Nathan Klamerus and Craig Wasnich recorded 41's to lead the Raiders, Zach Melvin registered 44, Alex Smith tallied 49, and Thomas Worden counted 52.

Jon Clegg and Richie Boal carded 40 for low medalist honors, Roury Templeton chipped in 52, Jon Snider notched 55, and Zack Mortinsen counted 58 for the Panthers.

Girls Meet: Angela Fought carded 56 for low medalist honors, Erin Worden chipped in 59, Ashley LaPointe added 75, and Missy Ellis charted 76.

Alli Priskorn counted 64 and Courtney Bruni marked 72 for the Panthers.
