In its 15th year, the Stamp Out Hunger food drive conducted by the Post Office collected 2,500 pounds of food locally for the St. Ignace Food Pantry May 13, reported mail carrier Preston Allers. The amount collected represented "many generous donors" and was about the same as last year on all St. Ignace postal routes, he said.
