Jimmy McDonald, the son of Jim and Lil McDonald of St. Ignace, received his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Lake Superior State University in April.

He is a 2001 graduate of Northern Michigan Christian Academy in Burt Lake. He plans to work as director of the boys' Jump Start program at Lake Ann Baptist Camp this summer.
