Sara Tafelski Seven St. Ignace athletes competed in the Mackinac Island Lilac Festival 10K Run/Walk Saturday, June 10.

Sara Tafelski finished third in the age 15-16 group with a time of 57:57, Holly Brown 11th in the 25-29 age division in 57:54, Ken Gulliard ninth in the 45-49 class in 48:25, and Tom Evashevski sixth in the 50-54 class in 47:02 during the running event.

During the walking part of the festival run, Susan Horn placed first in the 40-44 division in 1:06.58, Cheryl Brown second in the same group in 1:16.53, and Mary Huskey second in the 50-54 class in 1:19.56.
