Garlyn Zoo of Naubinway will offer free admission for children during its Kids' Day celebration Saturday, August 5. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 29, and postponed due to rain.

Mackinac County Sheriff's Department staff will offer children's identification kits at the zoo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Mackinac County Animal Shelter volunteers will be at the event with animals that are eligible for adoption at the shelter.

The zoo is on US-2 at Naubinway.
