Alice M. (nee Brown) McCoy Heisler of Sault Ste. Marie was a former resident of Kincheloe and Ohio.

Mrs. Heisler was 63 when she died August 1, 2006, at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, ending a short illness.

She was born in Alliance, Ohio, January 10, 1943, to Francis John and Marilyn Louise (nee Hillman) Franzini.

For 27 years, she lived in Alliance, Ohio, and worked at an automotive assembly plant. In 1986, she moved to Kincheloe, and then moved to Sault Ste. Marie in 2001. She was a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She is survived by one sister, Joan Pucci, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of Ohio, as well as many friends in Michigan and Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McCoy, her mother, Marilyn Brown, and by her Uncle Elmer and Aunt Ruby Miller, who reared her.

Inurnment will be at Fairmont Memorial Cemetery in Alliance, Ohio, near her husband.
