The Fountains in 2006. Robert and Mildred Fountain of Cedarville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary August 12, with a small family gathering on Hill Island in Cedarville.

The couple was married in Pickford August 11, 1956. Alice (nee Jeske) McDowell was the maid of honor, and David Fountain was the best man.

The couple has four children and their families, Steve and Kathy Fountain of Cedarville, Mark and Pam Fountain of Saginaw, JoAnne and James Brown of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Randy Fountain of

Cedarville. They also have 11 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
