The following are reports from the St. Ignace Police Department from August 7 to August 14:

A woman was arrested on I-75 for operating a vehicle while intoxicated by police from Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, with the assistance of St. Ignace Police, just before noon Saturday, August 12, after she was involved in an accident in a construction zone just past M-134.

An owner of a vehicle that was being displayed for sale reported that car's radio player was stolen sometime during the night of Friday, August 11. The vehicle was parked in the Methodist Church parking lot. Its doors were not locked. Police have reported no suspects at this time.

Both St. Ignace and tribal police responded to Charles Moran Road in Moran after shots were reportedly fired Thursday evening, August 10. No suspects were found.

Aman was stopped on North Marley Street by tribal police and arrested for not having a driver's license and for possession of marijuana around 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 8.

There were a total of 24 incidents reported by St. Ignace Police from Monday, August 7, to Monday, August 14.
