Golf League

Angela Cowell and Dorothy McDowell shared low gross honors with 45 and Kim Rigotti and Phyllis Baxter low net with 38 in the first flight of the Munoscong Ladies Day Golf League Wednesday, August 9.

In the second flight, Sonja Clegg had 52 for low gross and Gloria Smith had 36 for low net, and Marianne Douglas 54 for low gross and Joyce Ulley and Wanda Burkholder 39 for low net in the third flight.

Judy Hamilton scored 62 for low gross and Joyce DeWitt 29 for low net in the fourth flight.

In special events, Angela Cowell recorded low putts with 12, Bev Vandergeest recorded longest drive on number three, and Gloria Christensen shortest drive on number four.

Mixed Doubles

Golf League

The twosome of Denny Smith and Cindy Harrison, playing as a foursome, carded 31 with nine putts for first place in the Munoscong Mixed Doubles Golf League Friday, August 11.

The team of Roger and Paulette Belair and Roy and Judy Hamilton recorded 33 with 10 putts for second place and the group of Dave and Pam Postma and Terry and Sherry Lovegrove had the lowest score on even holes with 19. In the special events, Denny

Smith was closest to the pin with third shot on number 14, Jan Moore was longest putt on number 15, Roy Hamilton had closest to the pin with tee shot on number 16, and Roger Belair had closest to the pin with second shot on number 17.

Seniors Golf League

Dick Carr carded 34 for low gross and Henry Jarvie and Dick Carr shared low putt honors with 12 during the Munosong Seniors Golf League Thursday, August 10.

Vern Cowell recorded longest putt on number three, Dick Carr had longest drive on number three, Brian Lander had closest to the pin with tee shot on number nine, and Henry Jarvie won the door prize.
