Curtis will be the site of Art on the Lake Festival Saturday, September 2. Michigan artists, craftsmen, and musicians will gather on the shore of South Manistique Lake for the day.

The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entertainment will end at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge.

The event includes live entertainment from Doc Woodward Blues Trio, Diamonds and Gold, and Steppin' In It. Also, the event's "Taste of Curtis" food tent will feature Upper Peninsula specialties prepared by local chefs. Wine and beer will be available.
