Free workshops designed to teach consumers how to control home energy costs are being offered by the Chippewa-LuceMackinac Community Action Agency.

The Energy With Ease workshops will take place on the lower level of the Avery Center in Sault Ste. Marie Wednesday, August 23, at 6 p.m., and at the Mackinac County Community Action building

in St. Ignace Wednesday, August 30. Both sessions begin at 6 p.m. Organizers are asking participants to bring copies of their most recent residential fuel bills.

Community Action will provide the first 25 people to sign up for the workshops with free programmable thermostats.
