Help Sought in Chain saw Theft

The theft of two chainsaws from a Chippewa County Road Commission building on West Depot Street in Brimley has prompted Michigan State Police to seek information about the larceny through the Crime Stoppers program.
The saws were taken sometime between June 30 and July 11. They are described as a red Shindawa chain saw with an 18
inch bar, valued at $490, and a white and orange Stihl chain saw with a 20-inch bar, valued at $370.
Those who may have information about the theft or the missing chain saws are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 4657867. Callers may remain anonymous and tips leading to arrest may earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.
