Curtis will host its annual Art on the Lake Festival Saturday, September 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Artists, craftsmen, and musicians will gather on the shore of South Manistique Lake for the day. Entertainment will end at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge. The event includes live entertainment

from Doc Woodward Blues Trio, Diamonds and Gold, and Steppin' In It. The "Taste of Curtis" food tent will feature Upper Peninsula specialties prepared by local chefs; wine and beer will be available.
