Circuit Court

The following dispositions are from the 11th Circuit Court Friday, August 25, Judge Charles Stark presiding. Arresting agencies are in parentheses.

+Larry Leach of Moran, 52, pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug house, and was sentenced to six months in the Mackinac County Jail (45 days to be served immediately), $960 in fines, costs, and restitution, 12 months probation, and a sanctioned license. (Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement)

+Cheryl Cadotte of Moran, 41, pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug house, and was sentenced to serve six months in the Mackinac County Jail (45 days on a tether to begin immediately), $960 in fines, costs, and restitution, 12 months of probation, and a sanctioned license. +Hank Greavelle of Hessel, 59, pleaded guilty to home invasion, second offense, and was sentenced to one year in the Mackinac County Jail (credit for 48 days), $120 in fines and costs, and $250 in restitution. (Michigan State Police)

+Wendlyn Pitts of Marquette, 45, pleaded guilty to cocaine possession charges during her pretrial conference. A September 22 sentencing date has been set. (Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement)

+Jimmie Butler of Marquette, 29, pleaded guilty to the charges of cocaine delivery during his pretrial conference, and a sentencing date of September 22 has been set. (Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement)

+Arron Dagwan of Kincheloe, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child sexually abusive material, and will be sentenced September 22. (Michigan State Police)

+Ryan LaBranch of Sault Ste. Marie, 22, pleaded guilty to larceny in a building and was sentenced to 60 days in jail (credit for 19), $234 in fines and costs, and restitution. (Michigan State Police)

+ Daniel Claydon of Moran, 19, pleaded guilty to controlled substance sale of adulterated or misbranded drugs, causing personal injury, and was sentenced to a year

in the county jail, $120 in fines and costs, 511 community service hours, and to enroll in a general education development (GED) program. This sentence will run concurrently with another charge. (St. Ignace City Police)

+James Brown of Sault Ste. Marie, 53, pleaded guilty to larceny in a building, and was sentenced to 60 days in the country jail, with credit for 38, $282 in fines and costs, and restitution. (St. Ignace City Police)

+Sonia Calbaugh of Kalamazoo, 26, pleaded not guilty to the charges of home invasion, first degree, and to charges of resisting and obstructing a police officer. Jury trial has been set. (Mackinac Island Police Department)

+David Sayles of St. Ignace, 16, pleaded guilty to unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle, and to third degree fleeing a police officer. He was sentenced to one year in the county jail, with credit for time already served, 24 months probation, $1,690 in fines and costs, and restitution. (Michigan State Police)
