Sophia Stanislawa Jennett Paul and Ruby Foster Jennett of Manitou Beach announce the birth of a daughter, Sophia Stanislawa Jennett, born June 27, 2006, at Hillsdale Hospital in Hillsdale. She weighed 8 pounds, 8.2 ounces at birth and measured 21 inches in length.

She joins a brother, Vladislaw, who will be two years old in September.

Grandparents are Deborah Andress of St. Ignace, William Foster Sr. of Sault Ste. Marie, and Cal and Wieslawa Jennett of Harbor Beach. Great-grandparents are Pat and the late Mary Andress and Drew and the late Jack Foster, all of St. Ignace.

The baby was named after her parents' grandmothers.
