Volunteers To Clean Up Forest Oct. 7

A Forest Clean-up Day is planned for the Hiawatha National Forest Saturday, October 7, at 9 a.m. Volunteers are asked to meet at the parking lot of Castle Rock in St. Ignace.
In 26 Clean-up Days over a 10- year period, more than 51 illegal dump sites have been eliminated and 1,000 tons of garbage has been removed from the St. Ignace District of the forest.
